Terms & Conditions


Thank you for choosing our boat services. Please kindly read through our company policies before planning to book your journey.

  1. The Charterer hired via Sky Blue Boat must pay 50% of the total fee of the chartered boat and 100% of the total fee of drink & food in advance as deposit. Otherwise, booking cannot confirm. Outstanding balance must be paid in full 7 days before using the boat. No refunds will be made for any private reasons to cancel the booking.
  2. If your booking via Sky Blue Boat is less than 7 days before aboard, please kindly pay the full balance of the chartered boat and drink & Food.
  3. The number of people who board the boat must not exceed the limit. The captain has the right to refuse starting the boat otherwise.
  4. The number of people who board the boat must be same as booking.
  5. The maximum engine running time each time is used for 4 hours for the chartered boat. The chartered time is 8 hours for a day trip and 4 hours for a night trip before 12:00 midnight.
  6. If Charterer does not show up after 1 hours or Charterer was no further instructions, the launch would be regarded as cancelled. Charterer must be paid all agreed payment.
  7. If Charterer requests to return the destination before the scheduled time, there is no any compensation will be made for the remaining time.
  8. If the over-time run is not requested before the launch, extra-hour will also be charged accordingly.
  9. No any illegal drugs to be use or possession on board. Otherwise, captain has the right to refuse the trip and report to the police. No refunds will be issued.
  10. The captain has the sole right of decisions making on the board for safety reasons.
  11. If the boat starts its journey before, machine is failure and cannot repair on time, the company will notify the charterer as soon as possible to provide a boat similar to the type of boat chartered as a substitute or refund the rental fee. If charterer agrees to refund, the company will pay back the deposit and add 5% of the sum already received as compensation.
  12. If there is mechanical breakdown during the trip, the captain shall try the best to carry the passengers back. If the boat has spent more than half of the time the boat was chartered for or the destination has already been reached, no compensation of time will be made. If there is a compensation of time, the boat can only be used during weekdays, or a proportionate amount of the rental fee will be refunded.
  13. Every kind of insurance stipulated by law has been arranged for all boats in accordance with the Ordinances of Hong Kong. Passengers must take the responsibility themselves for ensuring the safety of any property that they bring along. If there is loss of property on the boat, the Company will not be held responsible, but can arrange for reporting the matter to the police and dealing with it on behalf of the passengers. If any damage, injury or accident occurs on the chartered boat and if the damage is caused by the negligence of the Company or its agents or any of its staff, the Charterer can submit an application for compensation for liability that should be borne in accordance with the insurance provisions only.
  14. If charterer changed or cancelled the chartered date, the charterer still take back food and drink in the dispatch office on the booked original date because food and drink has already been prepared and ordered before. Thus, the agreed expenses must be paid in full.
  15. No large-size audio equipment are allowed on the board.
  16. No pets or dogs are allowed on the board.
  17. For safety reason, no dancing, barbeque, diving, running or jumping on the board.
  18. For safety reason, no swimming is allowed in the evening.
  19. Guardians or parents should take good care of all children.
  20. Water activities are higher risk that all customers should make decision on participation of any water activities that every one is not good at swimming. They shall arrange for their own insurance for such activities. User shall be responsible for any personal injury or loss damage or death happened during these activities.
  21. All participants should listen carefully staffs’ instructions about water activities and must wear life jackets are provided.
  22. All participants must ensure that the boards of any article or any incidental facilities are based on the use of codes or laws or operational use. As a result of breach of any of the above terms and lead to property damage or casualties, the Charterer is liable for such damage.

The conditions of change in weather

  1. If there is a change in the weather conditions such as heavy raining, thunderstorm, big wave, windy or even Typhoon Signal No.1, the captain has the right to choose a safer route to destination or safer location to dock and disembark. The charterer must embark and disembark at the designated pier. If special arrangements have to be made, they must discuss this beforehand with this company.
  2. If Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No.3 or higher than Typhoon Signal No.3 is hoisted at 7 a.m., all trips will be postponed automatically due to safety reason. If a refund is demanded, the company will refund 50% of the free or postponed to another date.
  3. If Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No.3 is issued during the boat is chartered, the captain has the right to return the nearest pier for disembarkation of passengers due to safety reasons. Thus, no replacement trip or no any compensation will be given.
  4. All paid rental fee will not be refunded when the boat shall sail as scheduled under unstable weather conditions. For example, Typhoon Signal No. 1, Thunderstorm Warning, Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning being issued and rainy days.

The Charterer should understand clearly and accept all the terms and conditions above before booking. Moreover, the Charterer informs responsibility the participants the contents of the relevant terms to ensure safety.
